The vanilla install is around 68.2gb, takes around 5 - 8 Hours to download, and after I mod it, its probably 100gb, so in all probably 14 hours until its ready. Then your connection isnt the bottleneck as itll take only a little more than 1 hour to download 68GB @ 150Mb/s. :-) fyi this was posted last year.

so i had the game installed on my HDD with plenty of space available. i decided to move it to my ssd and run it off that. i have done this before when do a windows reset. the game was fully moved to the ssd without a hitch. or so i thought. i assumed i would be just like any time i have done this. it would start the install and find the existing data and be done. instead of doing this it is Subscribe to the world's #1 PC gaming mag; Fortnite, for example, shaved 60GB off the overall game install size, taking it down to around 30GB overall. 90GB - Grand Theft Auto 5

Because it fits. Bit over 100gb. The download is 72gb but the game is downloaded in a compressed format, so after it downloads it'll decompress the game to be over 100gb. It was like 70gb on release, now it's roughly 100gb, but I think Steam needed 110+ to allocate the space.
