When I was in the market for trail shoes, I narrowed my search to Inov-8 212, Salomon Speedcross 3, and Saucony Peregrine 5. With my wide feet, I wear size 9. The Inov-8s are relatively narrow. To fit the 212s comfortably, I had to wear a size 10, which at that point felt too long. With the Speedcross 3, I just barely fit a 9.
